Station 46 serves as a "District House" - District Chief 46 oversees stations 25, 35, 46 and 55. As one of the busiest fire stations in the City of Houston and one of the busiest in the country, Station 46 serves a variety of the populace. Surrounded mostly by residential houses and apartments, Station 46 also responds to industrial complexes and warehouses, as well as the internationally famous Texas Medical Center. Our personnel range from rookies "fresh off the tower" to veterans with 30 plus years in the fire department.

Incidents such as fire calls, medical calls and public relations will fill in our recent news section. The site will be updated with new pictures and news items as we receive them. Although Station 46 makes many different calls every day, only a small percentage will make it to this site. We can obviously only add those we're advised about.

Visit our guestbook and let us know what you think. If you are from another station or fire department, feel free to include that also. We're very interested in hearing from our brothers and sisters out there!
