Never forget

Captain Burke entered the department in March 1993 and was promoted to Captain in March 2003. In 2004, the department awarded him with a unit medal of valor for his part in rescuing a trapped victim from a house fire in November 2003.

Thousands gathered to honor Captain Burke during a processional from Fire Station 93 to Grace Community Church, Feb. 23, 2005. The Memorial services followed the march at the church.
